We do have a limited number of drums available for you to use during the drumming workshops.

Grounding Through Art and Nature (New for 2025)
Join Meli in calming, centering, and grounding both the mind and the nervous system with gentle movement, mark making, and community. Explore elements of nature that help you feel grounded. Solidify this in your mind and body with mark making and fun art supplies. Come play with the supplies and colors. There are no wrong marks! Artistic ability /experience is not required. “Meli” Melissa Deaton Cook, LPC, is an “explosion of color” and a licensed professional counselor specializing in trauma, nature, and expressive arts. Put More Play In Your Day!(Creative Music Making)

Like a drum circle, only different. We begin with hand percussion and small drums, playing with melody and harmony as we welcome all instruments, all notes, and all sounds. Expect surprises!

This is first of all a FUN and facilitated experience. The bonus is you will also learn musical games you can bring to your own groups, family events, and drum circles. Any personal instruments are welcome and no musical experience or special skills are needed. There are no wrong notes.

Michael Deaton is a drummer, gong player, music facilitator, and a Global Trainer for Arthur Hull and Village Music Circles. He has been teaching all ages, leading drum circles, and empowering humans through sound, art, and movement for over 20 years..

Maureen has practicing yoga since 1998 and teaching since 2003 (certified through Inner Wellness). She has a unique gift for adapting the practice of yoga to meet any practitioner where they are. With a knowledge of anatomy, key muscles are utilized to deepen the poses helping to create greater flexibility and strength both in the mind and body.

Maureen has been practicing yoga for well over a decade and teaching almost as long. She brings a strong practice of mindfulness into her classes to create a sense of purpose and compassion that are taught with kindness and humor.

Get an understanding of the basic process of “Questing” - creating a self-propelled journey - by exploring 6 Essential Questions that will take you beyond where you have been. We will explore these together in the workshop, and you will be able to practice them by engaging with others when you return home.

Food is a highlight of the Revival experience and something we take *very* seriously.

Part of taking impeccable care of ourselves is eating well... and eat well we do.

Our menus and food preparation are meticulously planned by our on-site by chefs and volunteer kitchen crew.

During your meals at the Revival, you can expect a beautiful array of delicious and healthy food that uses fresh, local, high-quality, nutrient dense, non-GMO and in-season ingredients as much as possible.

There will be food to suit most dietary styles: vegetarian, vegan, omnivore and gluten-free. Many of the vegetable and meat ingredients will be grown here on the land by Green Heron Growers, a NOFA-NY certified organic farm operated by Steve & Julie Rockcastle.

Full weekend meal service for patrons will start with Thursday lunch and end with a Sunday brunch. 

For participants only attending for 1 or 2 days, meals may also be purchased ala carte.

We prefer you choose the full weekend meal package for the benefit of community cohesiveness and for ease of planning and preparation by the the kitchen crew.

There will be food to suit most dietary styles: vegetarian, vegan and omnivore.
Individuals with special diets and food sensitivities are asked to bring along specific items that you may need.

There is ample refrigeration in our walk-in cooler available for these foods.

Beverage service will include coffee, tea, and water. You can bring anything else you would like. We will not have refrigeration for your beverages, but we do have ice for purchase onsite.

Meals at the Great Rhythm Revival are planned months in advance when our vegetables are planted and lovingly grown all summer long. We harvest right before the beginning of the event to ensure the most nutrient dense, tastiest food possible.

Are you looking for personalized, one-on-one attention? Most of our instructors offer a limited number of private consultations and /or lessons. You may connect with the instructor of your choice onsite for availability and pricing for individual & group rates. Payment for these sessions may be done with cash or check and be given directly to the instructor.

If you know you are interested in having a session, schedule it the first day to be assured of getting an appointment.

Each instructor's schedule only allows for only a few private sessions.

Handpan Small Group Class: Experience the handpan! Dani will teach an introduction to this beautiful instrument, including:

How to strike it, create melodies, harmonies, and polyrhythms! Handpans will be available to borrow. Beginners and first-timers warmly welcomed!

I am happy to offer private yoga sessions (small group or individual) half hour or hour longs. Half hour might be great for folks who just want to get their stretch on! Individual instruction is the way yoga was originally taught.

The combination of the Spiritual energies of the Eastern tradition, and the earth-centered energies of the West, help to facilitate a connection within clients that makes it possible for their awareness of their oneness with the Universe to expand and to manifest in all aspects of their lives.

Ours is a primitive style campground. This means no electric or water hook-ups (except for those with handicap needs) and no reserved camping spaces.

We DO have clean drinking water, and a bathhouse with flush toilets and hot showers. We also have a full camp kitchen facility with outdoor seating protected from the rain. Workshop areas are also protected from rain and wind.

Camping options include:
1. Open field camping where you can park your RV or vehicle and put up your tents all in one spot.
2. Wooded camping where you would have to transport your gear to the
site you select. This can be a very short distance, like 20ʼ or a half mile,
depending on your abilities and desires.
Upon arrival, someone will assist you in getting parked and finding an area suitable for you.

Rules:
• Leave your pets at home.

• Please donʼt bring firewood (we have plenty here and transporting
firewood may allow Emerald Ash Borers to infect our trees).

• Fires can be made at your campsite, but consider sharing one with others first.

• Leave no trace of your visit here. Take home everything you brought or
put it in the recycling containers.

• Field strip cigarettes or put them in our orange butt cans.

• Keep vehicles out of the woods.

• Camping areas are quiet after 11pm.

• Consumption of alcohol by anyone under 21 in prohibited.

• Fishing is allowed, eat all the Bluegill you want, catch and release the
rest.
